A traditional 11 string kantele with traditional 'varras' bar at the tail end, built from a box style construction, using separate pieces of alder wood. Featuring a soundhole with ancient runes and on the back of the kantele is burnt the traditional Finnish 'Hannunvaakuna' symbol.
Finished with linseed oil and fitted with top quality tuning pins,
Tuned to D major: (longest to shortest string) a - b - c# - d - e - f# - g - a - b - c# - d
Can be tuned to D minor on request.
